My name is Jessica and I have over ten years experience as a counsellor. I have assisted hundreds of clients by incorporating a combination of family and internal systems therapy, shame resiliency theory, CBT and other practices relevant to each client’s unique situation. I specializes in ADHD, shame, trauma, PTDS, anxiety, depression and grief.
I provides clients with opportunities to experience different perspectives and make their own connections as improvement is as much about unlearning
that which no longer serves us, as it is about acquiring new tools. Many of us were not provided with the tools to navigate our complex internal and external systems. However, I believe our human capacity for compassion and connection is healing; and that we can achieve the desired balance of closeness and independence within our relationships.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC; I am qualified to help you address many mental health issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD, communication skills, trauma, grief, life transitions, career issues and many other concerns as well.
As a client you are in the driver’s seat and she is in the passenger's seat. I pride myself in co-creating a strong client-counsellor therapeutic connection. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that will empower clients to turn their obstacles into opportunities, clearing the way for improved relationships and emotional health.
