Janine Binanitan
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC, based in BC. I specialize in supporting clients with curiosities or struggles with Adult ADHD diagnosis, identity and self-esteem, people pleasing and managing expectations, racialize lived-experiences, grief, and life transitions.
My approach weaves narrative, emotion-focused, and somatic therapies all of which are rooted in anti-oppressive and justice-informed practice. This means we’ll explore not only your inner world, but also the broader systems and lived experiences that have shaped you.
My counselling work is rooted in compassion and shared humanity. As your therapist, my goal is to collaborate with you in understanding your experience, hold space for difficult conversations, and honour who you are, and who you are becoming.
