I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work as a visitor on the traditional territories of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations. As a clinician of German, Scottish, and English settler ancestry, I approach my work with gratitude, humility, and a commitment to culturally responsive practice. My professional journey began in music before leading me to music therapy and, ultimately, clinical counselling. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Accredited Music Therapist (MTA), EMDR-trained clinician, and doctoral student in counselling and psychotherapy.
I work with individuals experiencing the impacts of complex trauma, including developmental and attachment trauma, intergenerational trauma, and experiences of war, displacement, and profound loss. I have experience working alongside First Nations clients and practice through a relational, trauma-informed approach grounded in cultural humility, compassion, and respect. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where people can process difficult experiences, reconnect with themselves, and move toward healing.

I work with adults and youth experiencing the impacts of complex trauma, including developmental and attachment trauma, sexual trauma, intergenerational trauma, and trauma related to war, displacement, and profound loss. I also support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions using EMDR and other trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
I have worked predominantly alongside First Nations and Indigenous clients and approach this work with cultural humility, respect, and a commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. I strive to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported in their healing.
